How it works

We'll send a link to your school email. Click it and Pro starts straight away.

Enjoy planning with Pro for 10 weeks. We'll send you a reminder 2 weeks and 3 days before the term ends.

Then you're back on Free. There's nothing to cancel, you won't be charged, and your plans stay yours.

Who counts as a first-year teacher?
Teachers in their first year in a New Zealand school or kura, with a Tōmua | Provisional Practising Certificate.
I'm still studying to teach.
Then you don't need this offer: student teachers get Pro free until 31 March after they graduate. See the student teachers page for how to get it.
Do I need a card?
No. We never ask for a card, so there's nothing to cancel and you won't be charged. At the end of the term you go back to the Free plan automatically.
What if my school email isn't accepted?
Email hello@heapso.com from that address and we'll sort it out.
Why do you ask first-year teachers for a registration number?
It helps us keep the offer for genuine new teachers. We only check that the number looks right when you enter it, and we may look it up on the Teaching Council's public register later. We don't share it with anyone.
Can I have it more than once?
It's one term per person. It can't run at the same time as other free Pro (student Pro or a promo code, for example), so claim it once that ends.
What happens to my plans afterwards?
They're yours to keep. On the Free plan you can still open, edit and export everything you made, and plan up to 15 lessons, units or worksheets a month.
