What your AI can do with Heapso
- Search your Heapso lessons, units, worksheets, slide decks and week planners
- Open a plan and summarise it, adapt it or check it against your notes
- Draft a new plan in Heapso's format and save it to your account once you've checked it
- Update a plan after you've approved the change (earlier versions are kept)
- Read the class timetable you've imported into Heapso
- Look up NCEA achievement and unit standards by subject, level, credits and internal or external assessment, with links to NZQA
- Turn an NCEA standard into a unit, lesson or revision worksheet and save it to Heapso
- Check the learning areas, strands and phases of Te Mātaiaho, the New Zealand Curriculum, with links to Tāhūrangi
- Check which qualification (NCEA, NZCE or NZACE) a senior cohort will sit, with dated official sources
What it can't do
- Delete plans, or share or publish them
- See billing, school administration or student records
- See anything in your AI app that you haven't sent it
Your AI app writes the drafts, so saving them doesn't use Heapso credits. You can save up to 100 plans a day this way.
Connect your AI
You'll need a Heapso account. When your AI app asks you to sign in, Heapso shows exactly which app is asking and what it can do. Choose Allow to finish.
Your connection address
https://heapso.nz/api/ai/mcpAI apps may call this an MCP server URL, a remote MCP server or a custom connector.

Your data and control
Your AI app only sees what Heapso sends back when it searches or opens your plans. Plans it saves are private to you until you share them in Heapso.
Connections last up to 90 days. You can disconnect an app at any time in Your AI connections. Keep student names and personal details out of what you ask.
Read our privacy statement and terms. Your AI app's own terms and privacy policy apply to what you type into it.
