Pay with the school credit card. If you need a purchase order first, download a PDF quote for your finance office. Your PO number is printed on the GST receipt.
Data controls
Choose how long data is kept, export your school's shared work, delete school data, and look back over the audit log of admin actions.
Private by default
Teachers' own drafts stay private. Admins only see what a teacher chooses to share with the school library.
Shared school library
Share units, lessons and worksheets with your department or the whole school, so great planning never gets lost.
Verified school domain
Teachers with your school email address can ask to join, and an admin approves them by default.
Questions your board might ask
- Where is our data processed?
- AI requests are processed outside New Zealand by our AI providers, OpenAI and Anthropic. Under their standard business API terms they don't train their models on that content, and we don't either. Full details are in our privacy statement.
- Can we see what admins have changed?
- Yes. Admin actions, such as adding teachers, changing seats or retention, and deleting data, are recorded in an audit log your school admins can review.
- What about student data?
- Heapso is made for teachers, not students. If a prompt looks like it includes a student's details, we gently remind the teacher to take them out.
Privacy and data
- Our draft privacy statement is written around the Privacy Act 2020, including IPP 12 for overseas disclosure.
- We ask teachers not to enter anything that identifies a student, and gently remind them if they do.
- Your school controls retention, export and deletion of school data.
- We don't sell data or train AI models on your content, and our AI providers don't either under their standard business API terms.
Te reo Māori, when you want it
Te reo Māori is off by default. When a teacher turns it on, Pip uses macrons and puts the English alongside. Pip is also told not to make up cultural content or local stories.
