What it does
Every plan has learning intentions, success criteria, key vocabulary and a timed sequence from starter to plenary, with what you do and what students do at each step. It adds support and extension ideas, accessibility notes, assessment checks, resources and safety notes.
Link the plan to Te Mātaiaho or an NCEA standard and Heapso keeps it to that focus. Add your class profile, your own documents or a note about your learners, and the plan fits the class in front of you.
Who it's for
Primary, intermediate and secondary teachers from Year 0 to Year 13, relievers and student teachers on placement. Student teachers can add a placement section with prior knowledge, Teaching Council standards and a reflection.
